On December 15, 2006 there were 1001 self-selected "subscribers” and as of July 1, 2007 there were 1178, as defined by readers who requested addition to our notification listserv. The list of subscribers varies at different points in time, since the list is purged annually (subscribers must confirm re-addition to the list). OJDLA subscribers spanned 34 countries on Dec 15, 2006 and 49 countries on July 1, 2007.
