TESTS: There will be exams on Wednesd ay, February 16, Wednesday, March 16, and Wednesday, April 27. Each will count 100 points towards your final grade. If you need to miss a test, you must talk to me before the test is given and get my permission. If you miss the test without permission, your grade will be a 0 for that test!!

FINAL: The final is Wednesday, May 4 at 2:00-4:00. It counts 200 points towards your final grade and will be comprehensive.

HOMEWORK: Every Wednesday, I will assign several problems to be handed in the following Wednesday. Each question will be worth 4 points and there will be a total of 50 problems during the semester. You will lose 1 point for each day a problem is late.

I will also assign other problems during the semester for you to work on. We will go over these problems in class and you should be able to do them for the test. If you volunteer to do a problem on the board, you will have points added to your homework score.

GRADES: Your grade will be determined based on the following formula

TEST 300 points

FINAL 200 points

HOMEWORK 200 points

TOTAL 700 points
