Dear Dean:
Gamma Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, provides annual scholarships
to qualifying junior and senior nursing students. The selected student(s) will be awarded the scholarship during our annual Nurse Week Celebration the first Saturday in May each year.
Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, is an organization of more than 8000 Professional and Student Nurses operating under the motto, “Service For Humanity”. Founded in 1932, the Sorority has among its five objectives the development of nursing leaders. To achieve this objective, the Organization on both the national and local levels provides scholarships and
serves as mentors to nursing students.
Enclosed with this letter are the application packets and a flyer announcing this Scholarship along with eligibility criteria. We request that you post this flyer so that deserving students at your institution may apply to receive these funds.
