Pre-Law Concentration

 

The UWG Philosophy Program offers a Pre-Law concentration for philosophy majors. This pre-professional track is intended for students who are interested in attending law school after completing their B.A. in Philosophy at UWG.

 

In addition to fulfilling UWG's Core requirements (60 hours), philosophy majors in the Pre-Law concentration will take the following courses (courses in red are offered during fall semester 2008):

* POLS 4601 (Ancient and Medieval Political Thought) or POLS 4602 (Modern Political Thought) may be substituted for PHIL 4115 (Political Philosophy).

 

**Because Symbolic Logic enhances one's abilities in skills necessary for the LSAT, students in the Pre-Law track are strongly encouraged to take this course.
