Political Science has two national honor societies
for its majors. Students eligible for membership in Pi Sigma Alpha
, the National Honor Society for Political Science, have demonstrated excellence
in academic work, as well as a commitment to the college and community service.
The national office provides scholarships and awards for outstanding papers
submitted in national competitions. Pi Alpha Alpha, the national honor
society for public affairs and administration, encourages outstanding scholarship
and a commitment to public service. This society also provides scholarships
and grants to students who have authored superior manuscripts. Membership
is open to students in the Master of Public Administration Program who meet
certain criteria. |
