Courses Recommended for B.S. or B.A. in Political Science
with Pre-Law Concentration
 
Pre-law students should: 

1.    Include in their major courses: 

       POLS 3301 (Judicial Process: pre-requisite for POLS 4301 & 4302: usually offered in the Spring Semester) 
       POLS 4301 (Constitutional Law I) 
       POLS 4302 (Constitutional Law II) 

2.    Take POLS 4603 (American Political Thought) or POLS 4602 (Modern Political Thought) 
       as the theory requirement in the major. 

3.    Include in their electives: 

       PHIL 2110 (Critical Thinking) 
       ACCT 2101 (Principles of Accounting I) 
       ECON 2105 (Principles of Macroeconomics) 
       ENGL 3200 (Creative Writing) or ENGL 3400 (Creative Nonfiction)
