Other services to the Institution that I will not list in great detail because I assume them to be a part of my job as a professor here include:  Visitation Day Representative, talks to dorm groups, departmental representative for A-Day collections, and giving talks to classes as requested by colleagues, talks to local high schools and civic groups.  When time permitted, between 1983 - 1990, I offered classes in the Japanese martial art of Aikido to interested students.  This included bringing in high ranking Aikidoists from Atlanta for special seminars and demonstrations.  This was provided at no cost to the students.
