“Global Pathways” is a revamped version of last year’s “Cultural Voyage” hosted by Mass Communication major Mariam Abuhaideri. Each week the 30-minute program covers a wide variety of global issues affecting the United States as well other countries across the globe. Her guests are experts in their field and help provide a microscopic view of world from the campus of UWG.

“Cooking 101” is shot on location in a different kitchen each week. The recipes are quick, healthy and affordable for today’s person on the go. The two hosts stir-up fun and laughter as they share the fruits their labor with on set guests at the end of each cooking demonstration.

“Yoga for Everybody” hosted by local yoga and pilates instructor Lisa Duffey is a 30 minute show that focuses on the benefits of staying fit, strong, and flexible.

“Hmm…” a news-quiz show that makes you think about the interesting, unusual, and awkward. Hosted by Business major Karl Cepeda. Air date TBA

“Conversations with…..” a 15 minute one-on-one interview show that started last fall but provides viewers with an opportunity to get up close with world leaders and shapers that visit the campus of the University of West Georgia. “Conversation with…” kicked off October 2007 with Newt Gingrich as the first guest. The program is a joint venture between the UTV 13 staff and the Communications and Marketing Department. Students serve as production crew.

“Take 2” is another 30 minute program that debuted last fall, but continues with new episodes this spring. “Take 2” takes viewers behind the scenes of some our newly produced shows, so viewers can get to know the producers, hosts and   crew.             But more importantly viewers can see how the whole production comes together.

“West Georgia Community Spotlight” each week viewers can find out what   local non-profit organizations in West Georgia are doing to enhance the quality of life for its residents. Each episode spotlights a different non-profit organization             operating in Paulding, Haralson, Carroll, and Heard counties. This program is sponsored by the Community Foundation of West Georgia located in Carrollton, Georgia.
