To be admitted into this program, a student must complete Areas A-E with a GPA of 2.5 or better (including all transfer credit).
Mass Communications is a broad-based program designed to educate and train students across media industries with emphasis on media literacy, writing, and technology competencies. Graduates are ready to work in Radio, TV, Journalism, and Public Relations.

Mass Communications majors are advised within the Department of Mass Communications and Theatre Arts. Mass Communications pre-majors (those who have not completed Core Areas A-E and attained a 2.5 GPA or higher) are advised within the EXCEL Center.
