Mathematics develops computational skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. A complex discipline that informs many others, its usefulness is apparent in the diverse number of concentrations available for the major.

Possible Careers
Accountant, Actuary, Computer Operator, Computer Programmer, Economist, Financial Analyst, Financial Planner, Information Scientist, Mathematician, Statistician & Technical Writer are a few of the more obvious career choices. But many mathematics majors also find careers in the fields of Aerospace Industry, Astronomy, Banking/Finance, Cartography, Education, Engineering, Market Research, Nuclear Science and Stock Brokering, to name a few.

Degree Options
Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Mathematics
Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Mathematics with concentrations in General Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Applied Computational, Applied Discrete, Secondary Education, and Statistics.
