UWG Department of Music

Music - to be admitted into this program a student must audition before the music faculty on their principal performing instrument or voice. Students must also take examinations to assess their basic knowledge of music and aid in proper placement. The Department of Music is dedicated to developing educators who are equally well trained as musicians and teachers, as well as performers, composers, and scholars who contribute performances, works, and ideas of integrity.

Degree Options
Bachelor of Music with concentrations in Music Composition, Elective Studies in Business, Music Education, Performance, Performance with Emphasis in Jazz Studies, and Performance with Emphasis in Piano Pedagogy
