UWG Department of Political Science and Planning

Political science concerns itself with social issues within the United States, the formation of policies to solve national problems, the role of the United States in international organizations, and the place of the United States in global politics. Two of its main concerns are how to preserve democracy within our own country and to study other countries to learn how they make political decisions which affect the quality of life within their borders.
