Art is the study of the various creative means of expressing human thoughts, interests, attitudes, emotions and ideas. Whether the choice is studying the various methods and delving into the rich past of the field or being part of the creative process itself, art historians and artists alike are members of a highly diverse and creative number of career fields.

Possible Careers
Artist, Architect, Archivist, Cartoonist, Conservator, Curator, Designer, Illustrator and Photographer are a few of the more obvious career choices. But many art majors also find careers in the fields of Advertising, Antique Appraisals, Art Therapy, Broadcasting and Journalism, Computer Graphics, Critiquing, Education, Film, Jewelry, Law (Police and Courtroom Artists), Medicine (Medical Illustrators), Music, Photography, Publishing, and Research, to name a few.

Degree Options
Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Art with concentrations in Art History, Pre-Medical Illustration, and Studio Art.
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a Major in Art with concentrations in Art Education, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Painting, Photography, Printmaking and Sculpture.
