Helping Georgia

photo

“My educational experiences at West Georgia, along with the leadership lessons gained from serving as a resident advisor, president of the Greek system’s Panhellenic Council and holding offices within my sorority, Delta Delta Delta, were all beneficial training grounds for my business career. Without my degree, I would not have had the opportunities and career I have today."

Helping students succeed benefits Georgia in ways that are not always obvious. Pam Prengaman, 1981 West Georgia graduate and owner of Prengaman Insurance in Suwanee, is one of many alumni whose business success and volunteer leadership have helped strengthen Georgia communities. The significance of this responsibility is not lost on Prengaman, nor does it prevent her from finding other ways to give back.

photoBeyond the classroom experience, students at West Georgia learn the value of citizenship and leadership. Hard work and active involvement contribute to the personal and professional growth of students like Prengaman. An active supporter of her alma mater and community, she aspires to obtain an advanced degree and share her entrepreneurial expertise and small business skills with the next generation of students pursuing their dreams.
