Friday Happy Hours
Happy Hours are arranged and scheduled by the University Club and afford the opportunity for retirees to socialize with other retirees and current faculty and staff too. Come see old friends or make new ones!
Usually two Happy Hours are planned each month—one at a local restaurant and the other at the Alumni House. The UWG Foundation provides complimentary wine and beer for guests at the gatherings held at the Alumni House. A donation to help pay for food is asked by the University Club.

Happy Hours are Friday evenings from 5-7 pm. For all events held at the Alumni House, the UWG Foundation and the UWG Social Club will supply beverages and food, and donations (@$5.00) are requested to defray the cost of hors d'oeuvres that are served.
Bi-Weekly Faculty/Staff Lunches
Keep in touch with current and former colleagues by lunching with them at the University Food Center (Z 6). Drop in on Mondays and Thursdays between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for a special price of $5.25 for an all-you-can-eat lunch.
Parades
Everybody loves a parade. The University participates in two parades annually—the 4th of July Parade and the UWG Homecoming Parade. Come help build the float and/or ride on the float on parade day. Bring your family!
