Political Science Club
Chartered in 1998, the UWG Political Science Club has become an active campus organization. The club meets once a month to discuss current political issues. The Political Science Club also brings political candidates and guest speakers to campus. In Fall of 2002, the club sponsored two political candidate forums on campus. The Georgia State House Candidate forum featured Chuck Harper, Tom Parmer, Mark Butler, and Tracy Stallings. The club also hosted a Congressional Candidate forum attended by Phil Gingrey and Roger Kahn. Both events drew large crowds from the campus and the community. The Political Science Club also sponsors social events.
