1One of many possible programs of study meets the minimum requirements for BS in Biology (see below). This plan is designed to prepare a student for post-graduate studies in health-related fields.  A student is advised NOT to pursue this plan without formally declaring a major in Biology and consulting regularly with their assigned advisor.  Students use non-assigned advisors at their own risk.

Minimum requirements for BS in Biology (see reverse side for details):
1. Student must satisfy all General Education requirements (Area A-F of Core).
2. Student must complete a minimum of 39 hours of upper division courses (3000/4000 level)
3. Student must complete a minimum of 21 hours of 3000/4000 courses in the major (BIOL)
4. Student must satisfy all Requirements for the Major
5. Student’s overall GPA must be at least 2.0
6. Student’s GPA in the major (Area F and Requirements for the Major) must be at least 2.0.
7. Student must complete a minimum of 120 hours total.
8. Student must complete a minimum of 2 WAC courses (Discipline Specific Writing).
