Vertebrate Biology
The Department of Biology at the University of West Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a specialty in Vertebrate Biology (behavioral ecology, evolutionary ecology, functional morphology, wildlife ecology). A doctoral degree and record of research productivity are required. Post-doctoral training and teaching experience are preferred. Promise of teaching excellence in introductory biology courses and upper division undergraduate/graduate courses in areas of the candidate’s expertise is expected. Establishing a strong research program in the candidate’s field of expertise involving undergraduate and graduate students is essential and securing external funding for their research program is highly encouraged.
