Eukaryotic Cell/Molecular Biologist

The Department of Biology at the University of West Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a starting date of August 2009. A doctoral degree is required, and postdoctoral training and teaching experience are preferred. Teaching responsibilities will include an intermediate level cell/molecular biology course, advanced courses in area of expertise, and participation in introductory courses. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a research program involving undergraduate and/or graduate students, and to be committed to effective undergraduate and graduate teaching.
