Due to renovations in our current offices, the Bursar’s Operations Office is now temporarily located in Room 307 in Tyus Hall, on West Georgia Drive.
Our Cashier’s Window continues to be fully operational. ALL cash, check, and money order payments will continue to be made at the Cashier's Window, located on the 1st Floor of Aycock Hall. NO payments will be accepted at our 307 Tyus Hall offices.
We apologize in advance for the inconveniences this temporary move will cause our students and staff members. Being members of the Wolf Pack, we know the temporary difficulties will be worth it to help UWG become the best place to work, learn, and succeed!
The mission of the Bursar's Office is to provide quality support and information to students in the assessment and collection of all student fees, the disbursement of all student refunds, and the fiscal management of all student financial aid programs including federal, state, and private funding.
Note: The Bursar's Office is not responsible for determining eligibility or awarding federal/state Financial Aid funds. Please be advised -- every student is responsible for paying their entire balance.
Up until Summer Semester 2015, if a student's balance was less than $300.00 their classes were not dropped.
This rule is no longer in effect.
Fall 2015 Important Dates
|November 10||Last day to withdraw from Session II Courses with a grade of W.|
|November 23-27||NO classes in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. (Offices will be open November 23-25.)|
|December 12||Fall Graduation.|
*Reinstatement will occur after the final fee payment deadline of Friday, January 15.. Reinstatement is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 19 and Wednesday, January 20, due to the University being closed on January 18, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This process is initiated in the Enrollment Services Center (ESC). Students will incur a $200 reinstatement fee if reinstatement of courses is granted. The Reinstatement process requires students to email the Enrollment Services Center at firstname.lastname@example.org with a request to get their schedule back and a reason as to why the bill was not paid on time. The ESC will determine if any Financial Aid or Administrative error was involved (with guidance from the Financial Aid Office as needed).
If student encountered payment issues or simply did not pay, these requests are forwarded to the Bursar’s Office for consideration.
Students are instructed to continue attending classes during this time.

|November 2||Short Term Loan Applications Open.|
|December 13||On-Time Spring 2016 Registration Closes at Mid-Night.|
|December 14||6 pm FIRST FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE. ALL TUITION AND FEES ARE DUE FOR ALL SPRING 2016 SESSIONS.|
|December 17||8 am Registration Re-Opens. Late Fee of $75 applies.|
|January 9||Saturday Classes Start.|
|January 11||Spring 2016 Classes Start.|
|January 11||Nelnet Payment Plan Ends for Spring 2016.|
|January 11-15||Bursar's Office will remain open until 5:30 to assist students during the first week of classes.|
|January 13||LAST DAY students are able to ADD & DROP classes from their schedule until Mid-Night.|
|January 14||LAST DAY students are able to ADD classes to their schedule until Mid-Night.|
|January 15||6 pm FINAL FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE. ALL CHARGES ARE DUE, REGARDLESS OF WHEN SESSION BEGINS. *|
|January 18||University closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.|
|January 19||6 pm FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR SPRING 2016 IF TAKING ECORE ONLY CLASSES.|
|February 1||First Spring 2016 Refunds will be processed to Higher One Accounts.|
|March 8||6 pm FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR SPRING 2016 SESSION II, ONLY IF REGISTERED AFTER 1-15-2016.|
|March 14||6 pm FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR ECORE SHORT SESSION II, ONLY IF REGISTERED AFTER 1-15-2016.|
|March 14-19||Spring Break, NO CLASSES. Offices open.|
