Questions about your 1098t:

In January of each year, you will receive a 1098t for the previous calendar year for which you may be eligible to claim a tax credit.
- 1098t information for 2011 will be available by January 31, 2012
- 1098t's for 2011 will be mailed to student's permanent address by January 31, 2012.

Your 2011 1098-t may include amounts that UWG charges for the 2012 Spring semester depending upon when the student registered for classes. The 1098-t picks up all tuition and fee related charges and payments that are placed on a student's account from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011.
Students and/or parents will want to contact their tax professional for how this information should be reflected on your 2011 IRS and Georgia income tax forms.
