The Richards College of Business welcomed its Board of Visitors and Accounting Advisory Board for their bi-annual meeting on Friday, March 2, 2012. During the meeting, board members were treated to two student presentations on recent trips sponsored by the Richards College of Business. Cody Bentley, senior, discussed attending the National Conference of Ethics in America (NCEA) at the United States Military Academy at West Point in West Point, New York and Catherine Mazhandu, senior, talked about her recent trip with a team of undergraduate students to present at the 19th International Economics Convention in Mumbai, India in December 2011.
The primary role of the board is to assist the Richards College of Business in fulfilling its mission “to educate and prepare students for positions of responsibility in business and society.” The mission of the Board of Visitors is to actively assist the Dean, Dr. Faye McIntyre, in advancing the Richards College of Business through advocacy, advice, and strategic planning.
