MBA Admission Information
The MBA program is open to all students who qualify, including international students. Regardless of undergraduate degree and major, any student who has graduated with a four-year degree from an accredited institution will be considered for admission.
Admission is based on several criteria, including the applicant's score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), undergraduate grade point average, and letters of recommendation. An applicant will not be admitted until a GMAT score and a transcript of all undergraduate courses have been supplied.
To be considered for admission, the analytical writing section of the GMAT must be 3.0 or higher and the total GMAT score must be 450 or more. An applicant must have a minimum of at least 950 points based on the formula: 200 times the undergraduate GPA (4.0 system) + the GMAT score; or at least 1000 points based on the formula: 200 times the upper division GPA (4.0 system) + the GMAT score.*
In all cases the final admission decision will be made by the College of Business Graduate Admissions Committee.
*Applicants to the Georgia WebMBA are also required to have two years professional work experience.
