Employer/Recruiter Opportunities

Each Year, the University of West Georgia Career Services Team hosts four career/education fairs, two weeks of mock interviews, three weeks of on campus interviews, dozens of on-campus information sessions and partners with several departments and organizations to sponsor opportunities for employers and students to interact.

We cannot be successful in our endeavors without the support of employers from our community. We welcome you to participate in the process and encourage you to review the list of events and find one that will benefit your company.

Small Business & Entrepreneur Networking Event – Another new addition to the UWG Career Services events, we are seeking those who took the road less traveled and became their own boss! We would love for you to share your journey and how you turned your dreams into a reality!

Spring Interview Week - (March 30 - April 3, 2015)

GACE Statewide Career Fair  – (sponsored by the Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers) –This event is held in April at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta with the participation of UWG Career Services.

Part Time Employment Opportunities Fair – Do you have a business that thrives on the part-time student workers of UWG? Find student workers early in the semester!

Community Involvement Fair (Presented by the Center for Student Involvement Student Volunteer Programs) – Come promote volunteer opportunities available to UWG students in the West Georgia and surrounding areas.

Richards College of Business Accounting & Finance Interview Week – Companies in the Accounting & Finance industry are in full swing for fall recruitment! We will deliver resumes of qualified students and provide you interview space to simplify your recruiting process! Held in late September. (September 22 - 26, 2014)

Employer Mock Interview Week – Mock Interview week is a great way to give back to the community, promote your brand and connect with students. Help students with by providing constructive feedback and you find a candidate that is perfect for your team!

Richards College of Business Interview Week – Are you ready to hire the top recruits from UWG as they are closing in on graduation, preparing for an internship or needing a part-time position in their field? Media Day (Presented by the Mass Communications Department) – Each year, the UWG Mass Communications department hosts a networking event with a luncheon and panel-discussion of industry leaders from radio, television, video/audio, print, web and public relations professionals

Career Expo – Also known as the Super Bowl of career fairs, the UWG Career Expo is designed for volume and diversity. If your recruiting strategy is to look for the best of the best in multiple academic disciplines, then we strongly encourage your participation!
