Health Insurance Rates 2012-2013
There are two plans: the Mandatory Plans (required for students receiving a reduction in tuition) and the Voluntary Plan. For the 2012-2013 year, the University System of Georgia has contracted United Healthcare to provide the Student Health Insurance Policy. Rates are determined by age. (see below)

If a student is enrolled in the Mandatory Plan and becomes ineligible to continue, s/he will have the option to continue on the Voluntary Plan. If a student is enrolled in the Voluntary Plan, s/he must be eligible for the insurance at the time of purchase..
