Comprehensive Community Clinic

  

The College of Education’s Comprehensive Community Clinic at the University of West Georgia is dedicated to offering services for the community in special education, counseling, communication sciences and disorders, mathematics, and language and literacy. We are an educational training facility for undergraduate and graduate students to apply the skills and knowledge they gain during their academic studies in a highly supervised clinical environment.

The Comprehensive Community Clinic is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of individuals and their families across their life span in Carroll County and surrounding areas.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Comprehensive Community Clinic at the University of West Georgia is 1) to provide an opportunity for practitioners in training to practice their skills under the supervision of faculty using multiple delivery models in a state of the art facility; 2) to provide high quality integrated and affordable clinical and support services including speech-language pathology, audiology, special education, counseling and developmental reading and math instruction; and 3) to provide opportunities for applied research.
