Summer Institute
The Cherokee Rose Summer Institute brings together educators from across the K-16 spectrum for four intensive weeks in June to read, reflect, and write. Participants strengthen their understanding of the writing process by becoming writers themselves, compiling a portfolio of writing pieces throughout the Institute. The ultimate goal is for teachers to return to their classrooms in the fall ready to share their new strategies with other teachers through a workshop format.
