The online programs in School Library Media are designed for the preparation of School Library Media Specialists. The programs are delivered online by experienced online instructors. There are no more than three on-campus meetings throughout the entire program for Masters and Add-On Certification. The Add-On and Initial Certification programs are available for students who have already obtained a Master's degree from an accredited institution. The Ed.S. program is 100% online. Graduates of these programs are nationally board certified, state and national award winners, and 21st century leaders in the field of school library media. The planned curriculum includes real world experiences that prepare graduates to serve as flexible, responsible decision makers in a variety of roles. The programs reflect the latest research in the field, effective practices in the profession, successful leadership models, and appropriate uses of a spectrum of technologies for School Library Media Specialists.
