Personal Wellness and Leisure Activities
The University of West Georgia Personal Wellness and Leisure Activities (PWLA) program provides all students with opportunities to develop and enhance personal health and well-being by becoming more physically active both as a student and for a lifetime. The Personal Wellness class, PWLA 1600, is a two credit hour course which involves real-life, personal applications of pertinent health and wellness topics relevant to university students. The physical activity component of the program provides students with a variety of one credit hour courses to encourage the quest for knowledge, skills, and continued physical activity experiences with the ultimate goal of developing a lifestyle of healthy activity.
