Newnan Campus
Each year, the University of West Georgia at Newnan educates about 2,000 students, and everyone is a commuter. If you are beginning your college career, the Newnan Campus offers a number of Core classes. This satellite campus gives students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Master's degrees in Early Childhood Education, Middle Grades Education, Special Education, Educational Leadership, and Business Administration. Each semester, the Newnan Campus offers a variety of Distance Education and Continuing Education courses. The expansion of UWG to Newnan provides convenient and accessible education to many more people in the West Georgia area.
Advisement at UWG-Newnan
Prior to registration each student is required to be meet with an academic advisor. Your advisor will help you schedule your classes in order to keep you on track to graduation and provide you with information, resources and services. Before registration, make an appointment with your advisor. Advisors are scheduled to be at the Newnan Campus on specific days during the registration period. Activities & Events
There will be a Commuter Services Meet and Greet with free snacks & West Georgia goodies on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 12:00 pm. This event will take place in Classroom 5 (Room 1145) and you will have the opportunity to
- Meet the Commuter Services staff
- Learn about commuter resources and services
- Join the new Commuter Student Association!
We are looking for ways to provide more services and events for students at our Newnan campus and want YOU to have input. Joining the Commuter Student Association will be your best way to do that!
