The Department of Continuing Education provides support to the West Georgia community, advancing the University's commitment to learning through public programming.  The department's primary activities include assessing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive set of non-degree programs.

Where we are located...

Continuing Education is housed in the East Wing of the Murphy Building (formerly the Football Field House), First Floor, Room 230 on the lush 394-acre campus in Carrollton, Georgia.  All of our classrooms enjoy the very best in media and presentation equipment.  Partnering with Continuing Education ensures that you will have the very best opportunity to share your expertise.

Who attends or classes....

Approximately 3,000 participants, ranging in age from 5 to 95, attend our courses every year and study topics as diverse as Human Resource Management, Upholstery and various computer programs.  Programming is continuously evaluated for relevance and interest, with an ever-watchful eye toward economic development and personal growth opportunities.  In the past ten years alone we have offered over 6,000 successful classes, conferences, and certified programs of the highest quality.
