Welcome to the Department of Campus Planning and Facilities at the University of West Georgia!
Campus Planning and Facilities (CP&F) is a department under the Division of Business and Finance. CP&F consists of the offices of the Assistant Vice President for Campus Planning and Facilities; Planning & Construction Services; Facilities and Grounds; and Risk Management/Environmental Health and Safety. CP&F provides facility, logistics, maintenance, construction planning, risk management, and environmental health and safety support to the fifth largest campus within the University System of Georgia (USG).
CP&F is dedicated to enhancing the campus grounds, facilities, and environment. Already considered as proactive in its approach to continuous improvement, CP&F employs such instruments as organizational assessments, technology upgrades, customer/market feedback, employee morale/development, performance metrics, and benchmarking opportunities to help monitor its performance and gauge its future development. As we look forward to our future expansion as a campus and institution, we remain cognizant of the challenges in resources, energy, service expectations, environment, and competition. Performance measurement data, facility reinvestment, customer service, safety, and energy resources remain the drivers for our sustainability and continued success.
The mission of CP&F is to professionally operate, maintain, and support the development of quality facilities, grounds, and services, and to support the campus community, students, faculty and staff. Through their efforts they support the university's commitment to the pursuit of educational excellence in a personal learning environment with cost-effectiveness, safety and in an environmentally responsible manner.
