Recognition
As a follow-up to the customer assessments that were initiated in 2005, the Division of Business and Finance conducted a two-day employee seminar whereby input was collected, evaluated, and synthesized into the following recommendations:
- "Communication" will be enhanced through monthly meetings, newsletters, email, suggestion boxes, and website review.
- "Participation" will be achieved through Business Process Redesign (BPR) and training development.
- "Recognition" will be accomplished on a quarterly basis through an employee recognition program that recognizes customer commendations, co-worker nominations, or participation in an extensive customer-oriented development.
Campus Planning and Facilities reinforces this initiative through the following tools:
