Northwest Campus Expansion
ProjectDescr: As recommended by the Master Plan, UWG has acquired 246 acres from the City of Carrollton and this project addresses the critical need of providing a physical linkage between this additional land and the existing campus. The construction of a roadway that includes a 700 feet long bridge is critical for supporting the academic growth and residential university experience goals that are part of the strategic priorities for UWG. The benefits for this linkage not only provide a safer, accessible and more convenient academic core, but also provide a safer, more effective and productive institution.
