Purpose: The Graduate Student Affairs Professionals is the primary organization for graduate students in the College Student Affairs program and strives to cultivate enriching opportunities for professional and social development, while fostering opportunities for life-long learning in the field of student affairs.

Social Justice Workshop- January 20, 2012 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

The purpose of this program is to provide graduate students and professionals in student affairs/higher education administration with examples of integrating social justice concepts into everyday practices and programs in the field.  Workshops are designed to enhance participants’:

 Understanding of social justice philosophy(-ies);

 Awareness of the ways in which social justice issues impact their work in student affairs;

 Ability to identify and develop actionable steps to integrate social justice work into their everyday practices;

 Comfort engaging in social justice work on campus
