We recognize that the spirit of Going West includes the desire to lead others toward new ideas and amazing success. We've designed our Leadership Programs to respond to and encourage students who want to learn to lead effectively. Our program offers a variety of opportunities for gaining the experience and developing the skills you'll need as a leader. Regardless of your current level of leadership ability or experience, we have programs and training to take you to the next level of your development. Leadership To Go is a leadership development program designed for UWG student leaders. These workshops are designed to fit in with and complement the busy schedule and lifestyle of the UWG leader. Programs will be no longer than one hour, giving you valuable yet concise information which leaders can use immediately. Resources will be ready-to-go and easy-to-use. Topics encompass the wide range of skills and information needed to be a successful leader.

Lead Lunch is an opportunity for student leaders to have lunch with the UWG President and engage in great conversation based on student leadership in higher education. FREE Lunch!
Spring 2014 Dates:
Each lunch will be from 12pm-1pm and is limited to the first 15 students to sign-up. Students are limited to attending one Lead Lunch per academic year. Please contact Kelsey Dillard at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or information on how to sign-up.

Leadership in the Wilderness
Spring 2014 Leadership in the Wilderness dates TBA.
Lead Weekend is a Free, one-day, intensive and interactive leadership retreat for emerging student leaders to farther develop their leadership skills. Lunch will be provided.
Lead Weekend will be held during the Spring semester. More information will be available at a later date.
LAB advises CSI on leadership programs and activities and serves as peer advisors by facilitating specialized workshops for student organizations.
The Emerging Leader Program engages student leaders in learning the foundations of leadership development. This program is designed to give you an instant connection to campus life here at West Georgia. Emerging Leader students commit to responsible leadership on campus and in the community and develop skills to be successful leaders in their academic, co-curricular, and social lives.
The LeaderShape Institute is an interactive, energizing, and unique experience that builds leadership skills no other program can match.
Since 1986, over 31,000 participants from all over the world have graduated from this program. But be prepared! It is six days of non-stop self-discovery and learning from practical experiences that build your leadership concepts and abilities. It's go, go, go 12 hours a day... And you'll love it!

Applications for the 2014 LeaderShape Institute Scholarship will be available in the Spring.
A highly interactive program to get students excited for the upcoming year while networking and enhancing their leadership skills. Lunch will be provided.
