The Big Event

April 12, 8:30AM, Love Valley

The BIG Event: One Big Day. One Big Thanks. One Big Event.

This Spring, UWG will be hosting its first ever BIG Event.

The Big Event is one of the largest, one-day, student-run service projects in the nation where college students come together to say, "thank you," to the residents of their community. Students, faculty, and staff participating in this annual event will show their appreciation to the surrounding community by completing service projects such as yard work, window washing, and painting. Student groups and athletic teams may also work with a number of our local non-profit organizations in Carrollton. Below is the schedule of events. If you have any questions, please contact Dustin Killpack, Coordinator of Volunteer Programs.
