College Panhellenic Council Sorority Recruitment

Thank you for your interest in joining a Panhellenic sorority at University of West Georgia! Joining a Panhellenic organization is one of the most important decisions that you will make during your undergraduate years. Being a member of a Panhellenic sorority is a lifetime commitment, and we are happy you have chosen to look further into this opportunity.

Panhellenic Formal Recruitment

This is the most common way to join a Panhellenic organization. Held each fall before classes begin, potential members will have the opportunity to get a sneak peek into all Panhellenic organizations. Women have the opportunity to move into their assigned residence halls early, meet women in their residence halls living around them and visit with each chapter. If you are interested in joining a Panhellenic organization, we recommend that you participate in Formal Recruitment, as many chapters will reach their capacity during this process. Panhellenic Sorority Formal Recruitment provides you the opportunity to meet sorority women, tour chapter houses, and attend informational sessions. These events will help you find the Panhellenic chapter that's a fit for you. Upon check-in, you will move into your assigned residence hall room, meet new friends and become acquainted with the beautiful campus at UWG!
