The Center for Student Involvement offers the following Leadership programs:
Leadershape Institute Scholarships
Leadership to Go
Leadership to Go is a leadership development program designed for UWG student leaders. The programs is designed to fit in with and complement the busy schedule and lifestyle of the UWG leader. Programs and resouces are "to go." Programs will be no longer than 30 minutes, giving you valuable yet concise infomation which leaders can use immediately. Resources will be ready-to-go and easy-to-use. Topics encompass the wide range of skills and information needed to be a successful leader.
Both Basic and Advanced Leadership to Go workshops take place each semester in 302 of the Campus Center at 4:00 pm on the dates listed below.

LEAD Weekend
Lead Weekend is offered in the Spring for incoming organization leaders. This is a Free, one-day, intensive and interactive leadership deveopment program for student leaders to farther develop their leadership skills. Breakfast and lunch provided.

LEAD Lunch
LEAD Lunch is an opportunity for student leaders to have lunch with the UWG President. Great conversation based on student leadership in higher education. FREE Lunch!
Spring Semester dates:

Leading UWG is a leadership organization on the University of West Georgia campus to help students develop leadership skills that can be used on an everyday basis.
Leadership in the Wilderness is a one day leadership based hiking trip where students for the University of West Georgia are taught to use nature to help them in their leadership roles such as outdoor icebreakers and meeting topics.
The Emerging Leader Program engages student leaders in learning the foundations of leadership development. This program is designed to give you an instant connection to student life here at West Georgia. Emerging Leader students will commit to responsible leadership on campus and in the community and develop skills to be successful leaders in their academic, co-curricular, and social lives.
