Greg lives in Smyrna with his wife Natasha and newborn son Preston. He has worked for the United States Department of Agriculture Office of Inspector General as an Auditor since graduating UWG in 2005. He remains active in his Fraternity as the Chapter Advisor for Chi Phi and loves to travel, ski and golf in his free time.

Cindy Saxon has just begun her second term on the board and serves as vice president. She retired from Carroll County Schools after 29 and a half years of service. She taught for 15 years at Mt. Zion Elementary and Bowdon Primary Schools. She held the position of assistant principal at Bowdon Primary and was principal of Roopville Elementary School before assuming a position at the district office. Cindy currently works at the Georgia Department of Education where she is Associate Superintendent of Teacher and Leader Effectiveness. She holds bachelors, masters, and specialist degrees from UWG. She resides in Bowdon with her husband, Randy, and is the mother of 26 year old twins, Candace and Courtney. Candace holds a BS.RN from UWG, and Courtney holds a BS. Ed. from UGA and a M.Ed. from UWG.

Jason Thogmartin serves as the Director of Internal Audit leading the audit teams covering GE Capital Americas, GE Capital Retail Finance and the GE Capital Corporate Function, a position he has held since February 2013. Previously, Jason was part of GE’s Corporate Audit Staff focused on audit activities throughout GE Capital specifically supervising finance, risk and capital management audits at GE Capital’s Head Office and Corporate Treasury as well as line of business engagements throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Corporate Audit, Jason worked for NBC Universal in controllership supervising accounting and corporate reporting for the Universal Parks and Resorts Group. Previously, Jason has held controllership roles at Six Flags Theme Parks and served as an analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense.
Jason holds a B.B.A. (Honors) in Accounting and a M.P.Acc. from the University of West Georgia, a M.B.A. from the University of Florida and is a Certified Internal Auditor. Jason also is a Board Member and Treasurer of the University of West Georgia Alumni Association and sits on the Institute of Internal Auditors Committee of Research and Educational Advisors of the IIA’s Research Foundation. Jason lives in Stamford, CT.

Nannette Rhodes is currently employed half time as an ESOL (English as a Second Language) teacher in Cobb County School District. This is the fifth year she has served in this capacity. Prior to her retirement in 2008 she taught kindergarten for 37 years. She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma professional Sorority.
Nannette received her Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. She has a Masters (’74) and a Bachelors (’71) degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia where she was a charter member of Phi Mu Sorority.
Nannette received the honor of Teacher of the Year at Davis Elementary School in Cobb County 1999-2000 and at Elm Street School in Coweta County 1979-1980.
Nannette has been a member of the UWG Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2010, where she served as Events Chairman for two years. She has enjoyed volunteering at the university welcoming new students, hosting guests at the alumni tent at Homecoming and various home games, and co-hosting the Villa Rica A Day social. She was honored by her peers as Committee Chairperson of the year in recognition of her outstanding leadership and service during the 2013 annual President’s Breakfast.
