Scholarship Programs

A key component of UWG’s vision for becoming a destination university is attracting and retaining excellent undergraduate and graduate students. Recognizing the diverse cultural and economic backgrounds of our students – 40% are first-generation, and 69% qualify for need-based financial aid – UWG is creating strategic, comprehensive programs to meet the unique needs of all our students.

Endowed scholarships are critical for recruiting and retaining the best students – but their full impact derives from the fact that endowed scholarships provide a foundation for success for countless future generations while also building a legacy of giving for the donor. Endowment gifts may be made over a 5-year period.
