Scholarship Donor Opportunities

At UWG, our number one priority is student success. Unfortunately, for many students, lack of funds can pose a significant barrier to earning a degree -- or to starting college in the first place. Yet these students have tremendous potential to change not only their lives, but their communities. And, in some cases, it’s up to them to be a role model for younger family members and friends.

Student success is at the heart of all we do at the University of West Georgia. A comprehensive effort is underway to ensure that a college degree is affordable for all students and that students are provided with the financial resources to stay in school and graduate in a timely manner. Your support through the Invest West Scholarship Program will go a long way in filling the financial gap that is critical to students’ ability to enroll, progress and graduate. Following, you’ll find details about four new scholarship programs: the Rising Star, Alpha, Trailblazer and Restoring Hope scholarships. But please remember that we’re also happy to create a named scholarship with the student requirements that most appeal to you.

Alpha Scholarship ($100,000)
