Dr. Tutterow is a Professor of Economics at Mercer University. Prior to joining Mercer University, Dr. Tutterow held faculty and administrative appointments at West Virginia University, Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University. In addition to his work in academia, Dr. Tutterow has served as a consultant on economic, financial and statistical issues for corporate clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to closely-held businesses. Dr. Tutterow also served as a member of Georgia’s 2010 Special Council on Tax Reform and Fairness.  His analysis of the economic, business and political environments have been featured in a variety of media including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, USA Today, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, New York Times, CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg

Dr. William J. Smith, Ph.D., University of West Georgia is an Associate Professor of  Economics at the University of West Georgia. Formerly,  Dr. Smith was a research associate at the Fiscal Research Center at Georgia State University . He specialized in the study of growth patterns of the Atlanta Metropolitan Area and in the empirical analysis of state tax policies. Joey will provide an update on the outlook for the state and West Georgia Economics. Joey is a graduate of Haralson County High School.
