How Do I Apply?
The University of West Georgia Admission's Office standard application deadlines are as follows:
Summer 2012: May 15, 2012
Fall 2012: June 1, 2012
Spring 2013: November 15, 2012
Summer 2013: May 15, 2013
Fall 2013: June 1, 2013

Below are different scenarios that may help you with the admission's process:
Case #1: I haven't been in school for years. I have never attended UWG. Where do I start?
If you've been out of school for more than 5 years and never attended college, you may need to take the COMPASS placement exam, and you may be required to take Learning Support/ Remedial courses before being admitted to the University of West Georgia.
To be classified as a non-traditional student, one must have not attended high school/college within the past five (5) years, and earned no more than 45 quarter/30 semester hours of transferable college credit.

Case #2: It has been over a year since I attended UWG. Now I want to start back to school. How do I begin?
If you were previously admitted to UWG but have not registered for/attended classes in more than one calendar year, you may need to re-apply to UWG.

Case #3: I am are already enrolled at another institution and would like to visit UWG as a transient student to take an eCore class.

Typically students are required to complete the Admissions application form, provide a transient approval letter from the Registrar or Dean of the current home-based institution which indicates good academic standing, and include the application processing fee.
