Our Director
Roy H Forbes, Ed.D., Interim Director, Evaluation Center, University of West Georgia manages and provides oversight for all of the Center’s projects. During his fifty year career he served as the director of an urban education center, associate superintendent for research and evaluation in a local school system, director of the National Assessment of Educational Progress, and an educational advisor to a governor He was the founding director of SERVE (the southeast’s regional education research and development laboratory). Since his retirement in 1997 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro he has continued to be active in educational research and evaluation. He received his doctorate from the University of Massachusetts in 1970.
