The path to achievement isn’t always an easy one, but there’s no need to go it alone. UWG’s EXCEL Center is committed to helping you get past the bumps and detours as you find your own direction. Think of us as roadside assistance for your college journey.
We offer:
Academic advising for students with undeclared majors and select Arts & Sciences pre-majors.
Free tutoring in all core curriculum classes.
Upper class mentoring of new students.
Major/Career exploration in hundreds of majors/fields.
Help with study skills and computer use.
General troubleshooting for UWG students. Ask Andy!
Our Multicultural Achievement Program is designed to help minority students make their marks in both academic and social settings.
While we’re all for scholarly achievement, our goal is helping to make your UWG experience amazing on every level. Consider us your go-to resource for problems, questions and concerns. We’re even here for those times when you just need to see a friendly face!

Summer Hours: Monday though Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Spring Semester & Fall Semester Hours: Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
