Walk-In Customer Service Confidentiality Policy
Students who wish to know specific information (i.e., types of awards and/or dollar amounts, etc.) about their financial aid records are required to provide the Financial Aid Department Staff with their UWG ID Card. Information concerning a student's file will not be released to a parent, spouse or any other relative without the written consent of the student. Information concerning a student's file will not be released to a parent, spouse or any other relative without the written consent of the student. However, if a parent's information is provided on the FAFSA, the Financial Aid Office may release general information regarding a student's financial aid file. The student, however, may obtain specific information regarding their financial file by visiting BANWEB. Social Security numbers will not be accepted over the phone.
