Congratulations!
You've made it to the last step...
If you submitted all applicable documents from your award letter, funds are ready to be disbursed to your student account.
If you have not received a student loan previously at West Georgia, you will need to sign the promissory note electronically using your Federal PIN (Personal Identification Number) and complete the loan entrance session.
If your semester funds are in excess of your semester charges, you may receive an overpayment. The overpayment balance will be applied to your Higher One account approximately 1 week after the semester's drop/add period ends.
Some common things that prevent your aid from being disbursed to your student account:
- Promissory notes have not been completed and signed electronically
- Student has not yet registered for minimum required hours (enrollment must be at least half time)
- Student has not completed the loan entrance session
- COD Errors - name does not match; you already have an MPN on file or a loan has not yet been created for you
