For Drivers: Please consult 'Directions' link. For a printable conference parking pass, please see 'Parking Pass' link on the left margin of the conference home page. The pass must be displayed on the car dashboard throughout the conference. There is no public transportation between the Atlanta airport and Carrollton, Georgia. Those arriving at the Atlanta airport may either rent a car or take the conference shuttle service described below. Taxis and commercial shuttles between the airport and Carrollton may cost between $90.00 and $130.00 each way. For commercial transportation, please scroll to the bottom of this page.
We will have at least two shuttle pick ups on the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 10. Approximate times: 4:00 pm 5:45 pm
IMPORTANT: to take the conference shuttle service, your plane must arrive by the times indicated below.
Rental Cars
All major rental car agencies are available at the Atlanta airport. The University of West Georgia in Carrollton is an easy drive of approximately 45-60 minutes from the Atlanta airport. See the 'Directions' link on the conference home page for directions.
University of West Georgia Limited Shuttle Service For those who will take advantage of the free conference shuttle from the Atlanta airport to Carrollton, the schedule is below. Nov. 5: Deadline for submitting airport arrival times for those wishing to take advantage of shuttle service. (Participants should plan to arrive no later than 3:15 p.m. in order to take advantage of shuttle service to Carrollton.) Email flight number, arrival time and cell phone number to John Blair: jblair@westga.edu. Due to the Atlanta airport’s size and the time needed for passengers to reach Ground Transportation after deboarding, participants’ planes should arrive at least 45 minutes before the scheduled shuttle departure time to allow adequate time to reach the shuttle. Directions to the shuttle: After picking up your luggage, please exit through doors S5 or S6 of the South Terminal baggage claim area and cross over the inner lanes of traffic to the first island with a white metal structure. Please call your driver if you cannot find the vehicle or if your flight is delayed.
Please note: if your flight comes in at the North Terminal, you will need to walk to the other side of the building to the South Terminal.

Shuttle between the Jameson Inn and the University of West Georgia campus
The shuttle from the Atlanta airport will drop participants at either the Jameson Inn. For the Thursday evening reception, the shuttle will leave the Jameson Inn at 7:15 p.m. The shuttle will return participants to the Jameson after the reception at 9 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, the shuttle will leave the Jameson at 8 a.m. and return following the last panel of the day.

--Participants who plan to take the conference shuttle to the Atlanta airport must have already checked out of the hotel and be ready to load their bags onto the bus when it picks up passengers at the times above.
--It is very important to board the shuttle immediately after the morning sessions end, and no later than the 12:45 p.m. departure time. The shuttles from the Campus Center to the Atlanta airport will arrive at the airport at approximately 1:45 p.m. Due to the airport’s size, participants should allow ample time after 1:45 p.m. to go through airport security and reach the appropriate gate before the scheduled flight departure time.Commercial transportation
