Ladies, are you looking to strike a balance between academics, social life, and physical activity? If so,The Well Women of West Georgia living-learning community – WWW – is for you! Live in a community of women seeking harmony, balance, and vibrant relationships. Students will be expected to participate in specialized programming such as women's health, dance, yoga, and communication workshops. A housing application must be on file in order to be considered for the WWW community. Remember to also select this Living-Learning Community and preference The Oaks on your housing application for fullest consideration.
Where is the community located?
The Oaks 1000 building-2nd floor, female students only
Can I live in this LLC with someone who is not participating in the program?
Sorry, but no. All students living in the rooms designated for the WWW community must participate in the WWW program.
Are there required courses?
Yes. Students in the community are required to enroll in a special section of UWG 1101 that will meet in the hall during the fall semester.
The women in this program will also be enrolled in PWLA 1600 for the Fall 2013 Semester. This class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-2:50pm.
To whom is the community open?
The WWW community is for first-year, female students only.
Is there a fee for the community?
Yes, WWW participants are required to pay a $20 special interest housing fee each semester to fund specialized community features.
