Nursing Scholars
Description
The UWG School of Nursing Scholars Program is designed for academically gifted and highly motivated student who seek interactive learning experiences with faculty and peers. Nursing Scholars will have the opportunity to work closely with faculty mentors to design individualized learning experiences and engage in undergraduate research activities. They are the future leaders and scholars who will transform nursing practice and education for the 21st century. Recognition as a UWG Nursing Scholar is reserved for a select few and is by invitation only.
Criteria
Full-time freshmen pre-nursing students will be eligible for consideration as a UWG Nursing Scholars upon the following items:
- Admission to the Honors College within the first semester of enrollment at UWG
- Attainment of a 3.5 GPA upon completion of the first semester at UWG with a minimum of 12 credits; all courses must be earned at UWG.
